Who would have thought May 21, 2011 was going to be my most sought after wedding day ever! All of a sudden there were two brides hunting for this date when Katie Beall contacts me through fbook regarding her best friend’s wedding… Want to guess when was she getting married? You got it, MAY 21st! The next thing I knew I was going back to my beloved Dublin, GA to shoot Brooke and Blake’s wedding!!!

Coming back home (yes, I do consider myself a part of Dublin) in and of itself was a treat.  Seeing the Beall family is always fun.  Working with Brooke and Blake was just awesome!

You might wonder how on earth I could think they’re awesome if I’d just met them.  After all, this wedding came as a referral.  The answer is two-fold: One, anyone Katie Beall deems as her best friend HAS to be pretty awesome, and two I did get an opportunity to meet them back in February.

During that month I had the chance to spend a few days in Dublin, and we had the opportunity to meet for coffee at BlackBird’s.  I showed up early to the appointment (yes, ever since I became a US citizen rare things have been taking place), and to my surprise Brooke and Blake didn’t come by themselves… they brought this precious little girl named Maclairah.  Even more so I was hooked on bringing my A+ game and document their beautiful relationship!

Thanks to Brooke and Blake for being such a great, easygoing, and sweet couple.  Thanks to Maclairah for being such a great little model for the camera.  Special thanks to the Garbutt family for allowing us to use their garden for the First Look shots.  Thanks to Joe Don for flying in the night before and assisting me on this wedding.
