In a previous post titled “Get Married and Give Back” we unveiled a very ambitious photography project. The project consists in giving away 10% of every Wedding Photography package towards a charity of the couple’s choice. Sounds simple enough. In light of all the agencies to give to, and in order to make this simple, we made a list of ten charities. Since we couldn’t explain the reasoning behind each and every choice of charity in one post, I decided to dedicate a post to each charity. Here’s the third one: American Diabetes Association (ADA).
This is a personal cause to me since my grandparents, and my wife’s grandparents, suffered from this disease. My grandfather, who raised me, passed away after batteling with Diabetes for over 40 years. I saw firsthand how this disease affect your body. I also know young kids, teenagers, and adults with this disease. Unfortunately, chances are that down the line we will see Diabetes in our immediate family as well.
The American Diabetes Association (ADA) is a United States-based association working to fight the deadly consequences of diabetes and to help those affected by diabetes. The Association funds research to manage, cure and prevent diabetes (including type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, and pre-diabetes); delivers services to hundreds of communities; provides information for both patients and health care professionals; and gives voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes.
Through the gift of photography, and the power of love, health restoration can reach all corners of the earth. How wonderful it is to celebrate the best day of your life while at the same time supporting such a caring mission like the American Diabetes Association, and thus allowing love to bring healing. Let me know your thoughts. Share this on your fbook walls and tweets and, of course, Get Married & Give Back!

Hey there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any problems with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing months of hard work due to no data backup. Do you have any solutions to prevent hackers?
