The Newest Apple Store Specialist in Town… Me!

27 Jul

By now if you know anything about me, you’d probably agree I’m what’s called ‘an Apple guy’. I first got the Apple bug while still living in the DR, back in 2004, when a couple of my computers kept just failing on me (at the worst possible times ever), customer service was not only a maze but also expensive, and I was just ready for a change. I remember I didn’t have enough funds to pull the PC cord and switch over to the Mac camp, so my good friends and ministry partners Katie Vasquez and O.J Aldrich came through with generous donations and just like that I was on my way to order my first Mac experience.

Who wears the Jeans – Apple or PC users?

28 Apr

This is one of the dozens of questions Hunch asked about 700,000 of its website visitors and later on published an infogram revealing the results of this survey. These categories ranged from political affiliation to wine selections to cable TV network preference.

When I first came across this post, via Mashable, I was instantly drawn to it, perhaps because I’m a HUGE Apple fan and wanted to see how I panned out with these results.  So, here’s my short list:

  • Age Group: YES, I find myself within the 18-34 age group
  • Politics: Personal ;-)

iPhone iOS4 First Take

21 Jun

For some reason I thought this upgrade was going to be available the same day as the iPhone 4, but to my surprise (and ignorance since I should have just read the iPhone related forums) Apple released this upgrade today.

This upgrade was somewhat of a tough decision to make for me since I have a lot of the offered features already in my iPhone due to the infamous genius of jailbraking. However I decided to give it a shot to experience the changes for myself. Here are my impressions:

My Case for the iPad

27 May

I am a BIG Apple fan.  Ever since I got my first MacBook back in 2006 I was hooked on Apple’s quality, customer service and elegance.  I think after standing in line for over 10 hours for one of those iPhones makes me a certified Apple geek, a moron, or a combination of the two.  In either case my point is that when it comes to Apple devices, from the big ole iPod Classic to the latest notebooks and apps, I know my way around.
