This past Sunday afternoon our Get Out and Shoot group decided to go up to West Palm Beach, meet at Mount Botanical Garden, and have another fun and enriching photoshoot. The theme for this shoot was Bridal and for this event we were privileged to have Meghan Orsley and Matt Siss.
Matt is originally from New Jersey, and has been living in South FL for the last 6 years. As we were able to witness, Matt is an avid athlete and fitness and health enthusiast. Meghan is a working model in the Miami area and has appeared in several print, commercial, runway, and live showroom modeling. She is also 2009 Miss Palm Beach County and 2010 Miss Lakeland.
The day started with Meghan free posing for the camera, and then transitioning into formal bride/groom poses and a couple of fun shots in between. Enjoy!

This is what was going through my mind for the following two images:
- For the one on the bottom left it seemed to me that it would be a nice break for Meghan to close her eyes and rest (even if it was for 15 seconds). Later on I realized Megan’s vast experience in relaxation techniques due to her “Six Steps to Serenity” program. That’s right, Miss Lakeland Pageant website reports how Meghan has developed this program with the intention to help children of alcoholics. No wonder she could project stillness and peace so effortlessly. I guess I got lucky with that one!
- For the one on the bottom right, there’s a rule of thumb (in my head) with guys and photography, especially wedding photography, the rule is simple – they want to look cool. Not pretty. Just confident and cool. Evidently this pose wasn’t hard for Matt to pull off. He’s your typical cool guy and it was just awesome to have him holding his bride on his fingertip

I feel like I need to introduce the next couple of photos, but on a second thought maybe not

Again thanks to Meghan and Matt for being so wonderful and talented in front of the lens that afternoon. Thank you John and Matt for organizing this event and going through the booking/buying/calling/driving/getting drinks/lighting/tuxes and the things we just take for granted. Special thanks to our Make Up artist Mckenzie Ramirez, Hair Stylist Jose Rojas, Flower arrangements by Bella Fiore.

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is required to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web smart so I’m not 100% positive. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I’m impressed, I need to say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you’ve got hit the nail on the head. Your concept is outstanding; the difficulty is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I’m very blissful that I stumbled across this in my seek for something referring to this.
